Welp. I got impatient and didn’t want to wait for friend to help. Got my machine moved to the exact spot I wanted. Chip converter installed and air hooked up. Tomorrow I’ll start mixing the coolant and loadings into the tool changer.

I much rather have a plain Black Ford Raptor R. Although factory HP claims are overrated when dyno'd. It's amazing how much Shelby fans will pay for something. There was a factory five MK5 roadster at Barrett Jackson painted in Shelby colors. Someone payed 137.5K. Doesn't cost that much to build one.

Chilly morning here, but it's supposed to warm up a bit later. Off to chase coyotes, might be "observing" from the truck for the first hour or two and shooting the breeze with the boys over the radio. :rockband:

Long ago the coal went in the basement window the bin was about 3 steps from the furnace .

Being in the country the coal truck could back close to the window . 5 to 7 tons a year sticks in my mind there was always a ton or two left over.

Shovel full in the front of the furnace door.

The adventures of working in the strippins was pretty much a right of passage.

Many of my coworkers got their starts in that area installing new equipment was like being in Paradise compared to keeping the strip mine equipment and breakers up and running with patches on top of patches.

Many industrial suppliers were open 24 hours it was not uncommon to get emergency call outs at any time

I remember those days and put it to good work. I built a "chute" that goes out my cellar window and leans on my trailer. My son will unload bags of pellets down the chute to me in basement. We can do a ton in about 2 minutes. The alternative is to walk them all the way from the driveway, through garage, down the cellar stairs, then walk the length of the basement.

Which is far to much work doing all that walking!:frusty:

I have never seen cellar steps that were friendly to carrying down or up anything heavy. :amen:

My coworker told me last week he has a screw in his tire. I said I’ll bring my plug kit tomorrow and fix it for you. He said nah, that’s okay. I’ll do it when it warms up

Kids ask why this guy had this on his truck, I told them, they started looking around and said “I don’t get it”

I said it’s like an off duty police officer, he still has the car and lights, but don’t use them :D

Escort vehicle attached in a permanent fashion !!

Some law officers can be very strict and insist that sign be covered when the Vehicle is not in use as a escort vehicle.

    Speaking from experience !

For some reason, this reminded me…. My first license had a typo on it. This was back in the day when they were manually typed out then laminated right there in the DMV.

The typo, the expiration date was the same as my birthdate.

Like many teenage boys, I wasn’t the most lawful driver and got a ticket. That cop wrote the bad expiration date on the ticket, didn’t notice it at all.

I got pulled over a second time and that cop noticed it immediately. Gave me 2 weeks to get it fixed saying it wasn’t a valid license. He’d pulled me over whenever he saw me to see it I got it fixed. The guy was a dick…

Good Morning all :hattip: My phone tells me it’s -24 with a wind chill of -39.

Haven’t heard the trees popping but then again my neighbor has had logging ops going on for the second winter in a row. The woods are really thinned out now.
