What I noticed is going wider impacts mpg more than weight. Saw a drop of 1-2 mpg going from stock 16x7” to 16x8” Method 703’s.

2.5” OME lift, Koenig Six Shooter wheels, 275/70r17 Nokian Outpost AT, CMC, Nitro 4.88s, Greenlane aluminum sliders, CBI aluminum skid, Greenlane aluminum front bumper, Out Gear Solutions HC rear bumper, Baja SAE fogs
Anything over about 55 lbs is VERY heavy for these trucks, in my opinion. If you're prioritizing off road, then sure, that weight might counter-balance a high center of gravity. But on road, forget about it. It's going to rob a ton of acceleration, handling, braking, mpg, etc.

1 lb more.. neglible. The rolling resistance from wider tires is what seems to causes the majority of the drop in mpg but I’m no expert.

No, I went from Goodyear wrangler AT on OEM 16x7 wheel to Sumitomo Encounter HT on 16x8, same size 265/70R16 and noticed a slight drop in mpg.
