I'm sure everything can be made out of a 1'x1' square of 1/8" 6061. All gonna be little brackets

    @Yota X

You don't need a table of water either.

I just cut the suspended parts off; be sure to either have something holding the other end or soften the landing for when it falls. I remember just holding the edge of the piece as I finished the cut to lay it down gently.

    20220913_105911.jpg

This was 1/4" thick mild steel.

    20220913_110334.jpg

Used it as my saw table.

    20220914_101839.jpg

    Still got plenty left.

    1/8" hmm...

I have a bunch of scrap aluminum in a bin in the shed; depending how small those brackets are I can possibly get a piece or two cut from them. It's clean as hell, just small plates all in 1/8".

Ah yeah you have to travel slowly too for that.

But it'll cut it if you're on 220V; capacity is 7/8" steel but some youtubers have cut 1" steel with the plasma cutter.

    It's a real beast.

Oh yeah, it was going through it on 55 amps I guess? Just shooting slag all over the place. Kept having to stop to make sure I didn't start a fire, which is common when I do things like that. Then smoke alarms went off so had to stop.

That's odd, I thought it'd have you at 60 amps but I don't know I only refer to the manual when I'm cutting on the table.

I just have 1/8" memorized at 35 amps and really just dial up slightly if it's thicker. Much more forgiving when you're just lobbing off steel with the hand torch.

Your pressure was probably at 60psi I take it?

I put it to 60 and it wasn't as good. Maybe the psi didn't match. Idk it was literally the first cuts I made. Idk wtf im doing. Just testin out that plasma ray. lol.

Btw, the Amazon special 3 stage filter didn't even make it to the opening ceremony. Regulator took a shit instantly. lol

It's the details that gives AI away, like how a few of those stars on the flag have too many points/look like starbursts

Saw this article about how AI recreated a college party scene and some of the people had huge gaping mouths full of teeth that would have made Steven Tyler envious.....it's unsettling how good AI is but it's still not quite there yet

Why worry about an old-fashioned weather balloon? The Chinese Military provided drone maker DJI with software to map the country in detail and send all the data back to the mother ship in China. There is a reason for the blue list of friendly companies with the US and another reason that the company is not on the list.

That's why I have a hard time believing it's a "spy balloon"... Like really... With all the tech they have now they're going to send a fking balloon over here to spy on us lol.

It's probably some college students weather balloon project that got blown way off course

Sofia found a new show to watch called Vlad and Niki, just a couple kid brothers doing everyday antics with video editing 101 gimmicks. She loves it.

I looked it up and those 2 little kids and their parents are raking in 64 million annually off YouTube, jesus christ I'm in the wrong business
