'88 toy p/u master cylinder FYI

    Repaired my son's clutch on his '88 toy p/u, 3.0L, 4x4. Just a courtesy note. Looks like the clutch master cylinders being offered by many if the parts stores are shorter than factory, by 3/8"+. Basically unusable as is. Had to fab an adjustable push rod to make it work. Piece-a-cake. $3 for a coupler and bolt fixed the problem. Be careful when buying replacement parts for these older trucks, sometimes its not quite right.

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    Always a very good idea to compare old and new parts!

    How many different ones did you see in person?

    Anymore I would think parts boxed wrong happens way to often??

    I have never experienced that issue .

    Glad it was a easy fix in your case .
