Put in Tungsram H11 headlight bulbs. Easy to do. Just had to take windshield washer bolts out to better access passenger side. Haven't tried them at night. Hope they help my old eyes.

I've been grounded at home with a torn ACL/MCL and some bone fractures to my tibia/femur after a BMX mishap ...

I started my truck today in the 20 degree weather and let it warm up.. I figured I'd unload my bike and helmet and then change the oil..

I got all my stuff together. Truck was warming up.... Then I realized I'm 2.5 quarts of oil shy.

Looks like I'll be changing it next week. I can't drive until then anyhow.

We'll see if switching over to 5k intervals yields less oil consumption.

The H9 swap helped my old eyes ... It was a game changer as far as night time driving goes. I couldn't stand the headlight output until I did the H9 conversion

I added the seat lifts today; received them as a promo. But the holes were 3/8-16 and the bolts M10-1.5! Thankfully I have (a) a thread checker to verify; and (b) some spare 3/8-16 bolts. I do need to run to the parts store to replace the ones I had on hand with some with flanges or get some sturdy washers. So a 10-minute job is going to take a lot longer: diagnosis of the issue first, a trip to the store, and re-doing one set of bolts (I'll use some Loctite when I put them in permanently).
Moral: DDI is way more expensive than free, but there is a reason that you pay for quality.

Being -30 Celsius, with wind chill of -43, (-22 Fahrenheit) here yesterday & today, I've brought in my booster pack from back seat into the house, and I bring it out with me when I take the Taco out for a ride.

My Battery is 5 years old now, and I've been pushing my luck. I just hope it's enough to do the job!!!!

I see where individuals are putting backup lights recessed into the bumper. For some reason
I kept thinking the bumper was a real bumper instead of plastic. So I mounted it by the rear
license plate. Its ok there I just should have moved it more to the center line so the plate
covered the mount up to the lights edge. may have looked better but it works.
the Schraeder valves are for airbags plumbed individually.

Idk what to do next. I wanted to add a roof rack but I dont really need one cause I guess I could put traction boards and an axe in the bed. Also wanted to do a grill swap and add raptor lights and ditch lights but idk. Getting enough in tax returns to do it but I'm like allergic to spending money.
