Right? This truck is freaking perfect if you use it properly. I've had zero issues with my truck (21' 4x2 4 Cyl DC). Like I put it in 4th for city/non-highway with ECT on. For Highway I limit it to 5th and use ECT if I really need to merge quickly. I've had zero issues, if anything I don't notice that I'm going 80 when I should be going 70 on the freeway. Love this truck.

Also I live in Philly. We don't get as much snow as the far NE or western PA. When there is Ice or Snow I've had zero issues. No need to get 4wd if you know how to handle a vehicle in ice or snow conditions. If it snows a foot or two I'll know ahead of time, and wouldn't be going out for the next 12 hours until roads are cleared up (mostly), anyways. Don't be afraid of the 4 Cyl 4x2. People on here are drama queens about that crap.

Removed factory bed cover and installed UnderCover Elite. Added LOCKERDOWN console safe.
Just back from a very quick trip to Florida from Texas (I-10 / 2000 miles) and back.
Have driven TRD 4x4 Tacos forever. Sold my 2014 and bought a 2023 4x2 4cly DC.
    This trip was outstanding.
Once looked down and 93 thinking 75. Drove 75/80 90% of the way. Passed vehicles that needed passing. Never thought of it being a 4 cly.
This engine will do 300k. The new model will never touch this Gen Taco.
This safe is nice as well
