    Not sure what's up.

My iPhone will charge via the main USB in the dash that also does data. It's worked fine until yesterday. But now car play or sending music via USB is a no-go. The USB icon in the radio dash is even grayed out. Bluetooth and all other functions are working properly but to no avail the USB won't connect in terms of data or car play.

I've resent all settings in the radio and have also tried a different data cable. Not sure what else to do?

When I hit car play in my settings on the phone it shows Tacoma, and this was after I did 'forget this device' and tried to set it up again.

    Any help, greatly appreciated.

This has happened to me two or three times since I bought the truck. Each time it has been fine the next day after the truck sat in the driveway overnight, I’m not sure what causes the problem unfortunately.

It happens more than often me which is annoying. Try holding the power button on the radio until the radio turns off the automatic turns on. Also hit the audio button then source to make sure it’s on the USB and not the Bluetooth setting.
