What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Weekend mods complete. Removed air dam (no noticeable change in mpg). SR grill gone, installed blacked-out honeycomb grill and grill badges. TRD Amazon knock off shifter (great quality for $30!) and added some red glove box inserts.

Installed 12 volt constant in the bed. Two power outlets and one Dual USB outlet with a voltage meter. The USB outlet is switched to not allow current draw unless turned on.

 

It does suck; on something minor if they would have said something you might have let it go and they could have a clear conscience.
I have the Garmin Mini 2 + Dongar setup and it's nicely compact plus just a few minutes to install it all. However note that you won't have power to the dash cam when the car is parked unless you run a wire to your fuse block. I decided I would take that risk (nor do I have a rear cam). Just something to be aware of.

 

Added VLEDS' mini and max pod to my center console. Put the mini inside and the max in the back, I wasn't thrilled about having the rear footwells velcro'd to the bottom of the seats. Also added the Guild Outfitters' 400W in motion T harness and outlet, put it in the back of the console. Lastly, added an OEM dual usb charger (part # PT976-03201). I don't put many people in the back seat so I wanted it up front.

Got me a roof rack

 

Installed Bilstein 6112/5160 with Icon RXT leaf springs over the course of two weekends.

 

Installed a bed extender I picked up off FB Marketplace and changed out my second key for the Meso! Super nice!

 

Knuckles busted, back is sore but I’ve had an erection for much longer than four hours at this point.

funnest, most challenging project I’ve taken on by far.

 

Finally warm enough to install my Christmas present (Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover).

Got rid of the KnuKonceptz terminals and installed the SDHQ Battery Terminal Kit like I should've done in the first place. So clean.

 

Installed the rear charging port today. Now the kids won’t fight over who gets to use the charger.
