I am kind of the same way. However, I caved and put in an AFE Pro Dry, and actually picked up a little MPG. Went from a consistant 18.2-18.4 MPG, to a constant 19.5-19.8. Mixed highway/city driving w/ my V6 Sport 6Speed. Not great, but every little bit helps. Recently ordered a TRD Catback, will post if any increase there, I'm hoping it pushes me over 20 consistantly.

Coming from a V8's, the exhaust for the V6s just doesnt do it for me. But I do have a question though. If I decide to get supercharged when I do purchase my truck or at a later time. How can I go about opening up the exhaust to benefit the supercharger, but have a sleeper sound (quiet exhaust)? Thanks!

sorry to ask in here but i didnt wanna start a new thread....but how much do the new trd exhausts go for? and price for new trd cold air intakes? I got a 20% off coupon for trd parts from the dealership i just bought my truck from and wanted to know if it was cheaper to get it from there with the coupon or just get it from somewhere else.

x2 K&N stats that thier CAI will give you 11hp but at 6000 rpm. Who wants to red line their daily driver for 11 horses.

I agree - that's just what I did. I had a K&N 63 Intake and was not happy with it. Spend the money on the exhaust!

Quackhead, What did you get for $150? Your exhaust?

Question for all others I am wanting to put in either a URD CAI or the AFE CAI. The guy at URD said the MAF would be his first MOD. If I were to do one of the three between exhaust, MAF Calibrator, and CAI which would you do? Brand? Or is it necessary to do at least 2 or even all three to have it make good synergy?
