You may have answered already but does he have some sort of humidity control inside that case or the house? I have no idea how Maryland weather is as far as that goes. I’m sure he de-tuned it a bit for storage.

Winter is pretty dry, but it can get pretty humid here in the summer. No central air, but we use AC. Not sure if he has something inside the case or not. We keep the instruments in the rooms with the least amount of fluctuations. If I can get a few moments this coming weekend I'm gonna pull these babies out again and give em a strum or two.
