i'll say it... but these are my thoughts and nothing against @picturethis . It would be great if we can pick winners that are active and quicker to respond. We know things come up and we get busy with life but if you want to be part of the thread/contest, a more prompt response may be appreciated.

Also, it seems we are bouncing back and fourth between the same winners here. They are worthy shots and deserve the win but a little change isn't horrible. I'm somewhat new to this thread and don't have any camera beside my iPhone and no editing software. Put that up against a DSLR with someone who can edit well, us poor folk have no chance.


Either way, it's a game, I enjoy it.

It's been a whole 5 hours. Sure, it would be nice to have the new theme immediately but that's not always possible.

I vote for 12 hours and if they're a no show, pick someone else.

Unpopular voice here. Not everyone on the West Coast is up at 4:30-5:00am each morning like I am. I don’t mind making sure to check in early and get things moving so that others aren’t anxiously waiting…but that is me. I figure if I’m going to enter it is part of my responsibility to the challenge. Page 1 posts the original rules…which may surprise some of us though…but I’m certainly willing to change things up if that is the majority opinion.

 

Maybe move the start date to Sunday am. People work?

 

I get up much later on Sunday than I do on Monday.

Firstly, if you all wanted to make this smoother, you'd adopt the "rules" from post # 3

• One (1) entry per person
• Photo MUST be taken after the time of this post
• Mark your entry as an entry, else your picture will not be counted
• Challenge is open to YOUR interpretation
• Due this Sunday at your local midnight
• Current weeks judge must select a winner by 12pm Pacific
• Selected winner must provide a challenge by 3pm
