For years now I've had this issue where, at times, while listening to music through my phone, I'll get little half-second interruptions. Maybe one every 10-20 seconds or so. And this may last a day or so and then go away for days or weeks.

Lately though it's been getting really bad. The interruptions are like every few seconds.

This doesn't happen while listening to the radio, and the problem has persisted after changing phones a couple times.

The Bluetooth meter on the head unit doesn't lose signal while this is happening.

Has anybody seen anything like this before? Could I buy one of those aux/usb Bluetooth units to plug in and try and bypass the head unit...??

    Thanks.

There’s a couple reasons I can think of that this may happen. When the Bluetooth paired memory gets full, there can be interruptions.

    1) Clear all old connected devices from memory. Simple I know, but sometimes it works.

    2) Yank the battery positive in the truck for a minute or so. Clears all the stored memory in the headunit.

Hopefully, cheap is on your side.
