My Supertop is about 2.5 years old and over the winter it started kind of bunching up at the rear corners. I assume the mount along the bed top slid inward a bit or something. I emailed Bestop but got a reply that they're incredibly busy so it will be a while before they reply.

Anyone have any idea where I need to adjust based on these pics? I figure I'll take the whole thing off and start from scratch if nobody can tell but I figure this has probably happened to someone else.

    Thanks for any help/info.

Oh man .. looks like you’ll have to replace it … I’ll take it off your hands ;)
Joking aside, I wouldn’t take it off yet. Look at the tail on passenger side, look and note where the front end is, then check to see your driver side rail, and see if it’s slid back towards the tailgate. You could fairly easy loosen and move the driver rail forward and reclamp I would think.

    LOL.

It's bunching up on both sides though. I think I'm going to remove the top, loosen the rails and kind of start from scratch with the installation manual. When I get a few hours of free time... So probably in like 2026.

The side panels seem too far back, as they also bunch up a bit to line up with the velcro, but the front rail is against the front of the bed and the rear, removable rail isn't blocking the tailgate from shutting, which I'd think it would do if the whole rail frame had slid backwards. I also have a tailgate pad for my bikes, and the tailgate can even close with no problems with that on, so I really don't think the whole thing has slid backwards. Maybe the rails shrunk from getting wet.

Forgot to update this- spoke to Bestop and they said I should remove the fabric and check that the support bars were at the correct settings. They weren't. The rear tube had slipped inwards off of the "button" that holds it in place. I reset that to the proper hole and it looks... better. Still a wrinkle there but not as bad.

Any softtop seems to be a constant battle of getting the wrinkles out...I love mine though.

I battle wrinkles and leaks. For my softop - not me personally.
I cut pieces of foam to fit all the gaps to try to stop leaks, then when I take the top off I can never find the pieces of foam and have to start over. Usually after the next time something gets wet in the bed that I wanted to stay dry.
