2005 xrunner

Hi my name is Jason I own a 2005 Toyota Tacoma xrunner it was sitting for a while because the clutch was out a couple years I put in the clutch myself and filled it up with gas and it does not want to start the battery is good brand new it'll start up if I put a rag with gasoline in the throttle body but once I take it out it dies can anybody help me

 

It wants to turn over it start it'll start up like not start up but it will it will try to turn over is what I'm trying to say but it won't kick over kick over it won't start like it won't run like it just makes it doesn't want to turn over

 

So the Starter turns...it just want Crank?

 

Yes it just dosent want to kick over to keep the motor on I put a rag with gasoline in the throttle body and it'll turn on but once I take the rag out it turns off and I've checked the fuel lines everything is good in the fuel lines fuels coming out of them I just don't know what else there is I can do I mean is it a sensor or a relay I have no freaking clue

 

Well..it runs with a rag soaked in gasoline ,,but you take it off and it dies?

 

Yes with a rag and gas in the throttle body but turn off once I pull it out
