I'm joining everyone is NOT LIKING your posts!
Also, in hoping she gets mended up quick and well. Sounds like a medicinal drink would be good for both of you.

60+ is good. @johneman does mention that there are some 70+, but we all really belong together, because all aging stops at 65. Except physical stuff. There's always that...
Make mine an Ultra, or Shiner Blonde. I can't have anything else if I'm being watched!

Just remember the Jews were not the first people the Nazis exterminated, it was the free feeders..... The elderly and disabled as they no longer contributed to society. I'm not trying to be political but this is fact. And that is scary.

OK, Putz. Putz is a good subject. Got my new solar stuff up to see how it looks tonight. And I tackled my hardware organizers from last year.
These were the CHEAPEAST parts cabinets in the world, from Harbor Freight. And I did have to cobble some doors on, and replace one said door - to keep stuff from falling out when I closed the door. I even angled the bins, but stuff still slid out without doors. These were pretty soft plastic, I got what I paid for - not complaining about that part. BUT, the weight of my hardware junk won out, and the backs were pulling apart. So, I got (4) Stanley harder plastic organizers on Tuesday in Austin. So...

    Last year's good work...

    20230209_121013.jpg

    Pulling apart!

    20230209_120951.jpg
    20230209_121754.jpg

So, here are the replacements up in place

    20230209_132917.jpg

But LOOK! There is 8" of EMPTY space to the right! Do you think you can find an 8" wide cabinet...NO.
BUT, I had these orange bins that I bought to join the other bins, only to find that they had a proprietary mounting. But that mounting bar was 16", and half of that is?

    20230209_152817.jpg

Heck, I will order another set! NO, Amazon is no longer available. BUT, they have the same set with some 8" bins extra - so that will be here Saturday!

Now, this highly technical tape measure and imagination stuff - can I still close the door? Heck yeah! A full 1/4" or so of clearance!

    20230209_153342.jpg
    20230209_153421.jpg

So, all good, right? Oh, heck no. I had 200 drawers, now I have 120. I put some drip irrigation stuff in a plastic storage case, so that's together. So, some stuff obviously has reached the end of its life here. And some drawers will be combined - but the new Stanley bins did not come with dividers. So, some arrive Monday, and then I can sort the stuff - again.

So, there you go. You can putz around all you want, and you will get stuff done - but will you EVER finish?
Hope this gives you a laugh!

Will do. I'm on Breakaway, aka Hank Sasser Airport. 40XS. Keeping my FAA medical got too difficult, so I'm content to enjoy a plane and listen to everyone else up in the air.

Spotted a "young lady" sitting in her car. I think she was all of 25, driving a modern Camaro. Handicap plates. She was just half sitting in the car seat so I did ask if she was OK. A veteran who got gassed by an IED physically looked fine but had 20% lung capacity. She had walked into CVS, got some milk, and went back to her car and needed to rest for a bit.

My other classic felt fine, and a corker asked if I would park close in the handicapped spot. The irony is if I am with friends I park at the far end of the lot and enjoy the walk (Often I fall, but if friends are with me less likely for an F250 to run me over in the parking lot). Soon learned why she didn't like walking: she was a double amputee. US Army accident. The pallet of 50-gallon drums wasn't secured. Fawk.

I've been watching Netflix "A Perfect Crime" about the 1991 killing of politician Detlev Rohwedder, an unsolved mystery at the heart of Germany's tumultuous reunification. It's very interesting to hear the other side of the story. One older reporter was clear with the Russians that all the Nazis fled to the West, so he was concerned about what would happen when reunited. I lived in Germany as a child, then again as an adult from 1986 to 1991. Red Army Faction was forever setting off bombs on US Military bases during that time, but Netflix has a good storyline the RAF didn't exist but was used to cover other operations. It doesn't try to solve anything but gives other thoughts about the events that took place.

"Goodbye Lenin" is a good movie about reunification.

Enjoyed a 75F sunny afternoon, and got the oil changed.

I'm getting old but soon remembered my 25# aluminum skid plate was replaced by a 50# steel one. Found a couple of easter eggs!
Normally I have to drop the skid place, as that #$%Q oil drain plug washer sticks to the oil pan. Well, this time it stayed with the plug. <grin>.

Getting too absent-minded, hence keeping a list of torque values handy.

Didn't have time to finish up the front camera mount (need to spot rocks better to avoid killing another skid plate!)

Can not like that. Hopefully she recovers fast and is back to her normal self soon, with no lasting effects.

    Welcome @Sage63

Update, my bride of 45 years came through surgery okay this early evening. She got a rod, a pin and a nail. Starts pt tomorrow. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Long day.. I'm glad she's doing as good as one can a couple hrs after surgery. They are calling us kinda elderly and may put her in a specialized recovery hospital/nursing home I hope not but it's a waiting game. I'm glad we had been going for daily walks,

That's great to hear @ndoldman59, best wishes to her and to you. Those of us of a certain age do not heal as fast as we once did, make sure you dote on her and treat her with all the care in the world so she'll be back to full speed sooner. :)

    I use the same term.

So sorry to read this. Prayers for the wife and wishing a speedy recovery.

Good morning. Thursday went well and the stars aligned. I was able to fix, replace batteries in 2 smoke detectors and take some no longer needed linins to a friend of mine to be used in an animal shelter. Animal shelter/rescue facilities are always looking for clean sheets, towels, and blankets. Had to make two dinners last night because the wife and son do not like bell peppers and mushrooms.

Today the plumber is coming out the first thing in the AM to look at the hot water heater. I think the expansion tank needs to be replaced. Then it is off to the gym and the bank. I have a 1pm appointment to have the wife's car detailed before we drive it to Florida next week. We are going out to dinner and music tonight. Another busy day.

Good morning and Happy Friday! Hard to not like a 51 degree morning in February in PA! Had a really difficult time this morning making that last turn into the parking lot at work. Wanted to just keep on riding.

Heat lunch up in microwave. Take first bite, WTF? Feels like there might be a small piece of bone left in my pork. Nope, that would be too easy. Crown came off. Great, just great.
