2010 Non JBL factory head unit issue..

I've got a 2010 TRD Off-road Tacoma with the 6 disc, satellite factory head unit. The issue that i am running into is the stereo is not recognizing the connectivity of the AUX input and or the Satellite functionality. Along with this, the stereo is not playing sound on any setting, disc, fm, am...etc. Curious if anyone has had this happen and if so if there is a remedy to this without going aftermarket.

I have tried two two different models of factory head unit and have the exact same issue. Model numbers are,

Stock with truck 6-disc - A51865
Factory non 6-disc - AD1807

Stupid question sorry but have you tried checking connectivity in the harnesses that plug into the head?
