Hi people....Installing a couple new switches for some lighting and ran across this plug just dangling free with no obvious place for it to be. It's located right next to the in-cab fuse panel to the left of the steering column. If you pop the cover off it's right there hanging, at least it was on my truck. Does anyone know what it's for? Maybe some option my truck doesn't have? And if so can I use it for power for an accessory or something like that if I need it? Truck is a non-ABS, 2000 SR5 Extra cab 4x4, with a V6 and auto trans. Thanks

It looks to be a connector for Power windows/ Door locks does your truck have them??

Cool, I actually thought that after I made the post and felt kinda dumb, as I do not have any of those power options. But thanks, you've confirmed my suspicions I guess. I'm new to the Toyota world, I've been a Chevy guy my whole life....but I'm learning, lol. Thanks again.

    Glad I could help .

I was into the Chevy muscle cars in the early seventies.

    When engines were simple.
