Ov tune.. i had it installed last few years.. changed my battery and its gone..

got a 3rd gen 3.5 v6, i replaced the battery and my tune has disapeard, how can i get it back?? any help would be appreciated...

What makes you think tune is gone? Tune is in a program in computer. Changing battery isn't gonna erase tune. May need to re-learn your driving habits, now. That's about it.

 

There were examples of reversion on the old OV Tunes. That is much less so on the 2.0 Tunes. Contact vF Tuner (OVT's new brand name) and get upgraded. Unfortunately, you missed the free period. There will be some cost now. You'll get updated tunes that are better.

 

Hey guys, I'm new to the whole tune thing. I have a new 22 TRD Sport A/T. Will getting a tune void any warranties and will the dealership be able to see if the truck has a tune if in for service? Thx.

 

No. I asked the same questions. They will never dig that deep and if they do they probably wouldn’t know what they are looking at. Tune away
