We're saddling up and taking my 10 y/o nephew down to the flea market to see if theyve got any plates. He's got a little birthday money I'm gonna see if I can't teach him the ol bundle trickeroo. 4 for 20 sounds much better than 1 for 10.

2 deer impacts and almost one bear when the old neighbor was hand feeding them ice cream.

Many very close calls with Deer maybe they have trouble picking out a dark truck.

leaving for work and in the dark it happens in the woods

We said ok I get to sit in parking lot, downloaded a movie and got a coffee

Re: poll. I had my 07 AC for about 12 years and my wife had been saying I needed a bigger truck ever since I bought it. “It would be safer and you could do more.” Ended up getting an F-150. Only had it a year, hated how big it was.

The only thing I hit was my wife’s Explorer’s drivers side mirror with my passenger side mirror. Just the glass, not the housing. :anonymous: Freud would have said it wasn’t an accident but I swear it was!

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Enjoy the solitude @Jtcmedic & good luck to your daughter

I knew I was never going to college so never took those tests .

Even so the schools pushed so hard for every one to go to college.

I was told I would never amount to anything without a college education after not taking the tests.

In those days so many seemed to major in Political Science.

500' + in the woods in the dark about the time of day the deer are coming up the hill from feeding in the farm fields. In the summer the cover is enough that it is a surprise .

Wow for 2MPH I would need to be in Low range more like 10 to15 mph.

I have yet to every hit a deer head on they have all impacted the side of the vehicle.

The new poll makes me think I need a longer driveway… maybe one long enough that running out of gas could be a concern.

or you just need to be clumsier, in a hurry, and/or excited to try the new widget you just installed on a vehicle.

most of my driveway mishaps are exactly that. forget to pull the (classic) wooden creeper out from under the passenger of the vehicle, or don't move the water hose end far enough away from the tires.

i'd really much rather run over tools than worry about wildlife. tools aren't so bloody.

Re poll: We have a 2 car garage on the house. I

have backed into both doors. :anonymous:

    From the inside. :anonymous:

    Possibly more than once. :anonymous:

They are aluminum filled with foam insulation so pretty ridgid. Both were straightened out and are still in use.

My oldest also backed into one from the inside. :annoyed:

They both look fine from outside, except the one that I kissed with the bucket on the tractor, but that doesn't count for this poll. :anonymous:

@BussinGus , you may take the prize with the garage door. Just yesterday afternoon my wife in a hurry to get where she's going, thought she was hitting the remote for gate opener but hit the garage door opener instead. At first look, thought we were going to need a new everything. I got it put back together, and functional.
Update on wife; for the third time biopsy results not cancer. But they still don't have a positive dx yet.
So 2 weeks ago wife was sick, the following week daughter was sick, this week Toe was sick.
And I'm talking about the worst stomach ache and diarrhea I've had started Wednesday and still today.
Dr visit yesterday and it's not flu or other non-mentionable.
Wish me luck getting over this crap.
Hope everyone been OK. I just haven't felt good at all and wanted to update n keep in touch. Good people and friends here.

Thanks guys. This is very embarrassing diarrhea, if nothing has firmed up by this evening I'm going to go get some depends. It's that bad and no exaggeration. I took advil PM last night and this was not a good idea if you getting my drift.
On top of that I experienced severe acid reflux. Dr prescribed something for my stomach ache and allowed me to finally feel like eating, so I had a half Red Barron Pizza couple hours before bed.
This sickness is something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy....ok maybe
I got everything all laundered :anonymous:
