    2017 4 door tacoma SR5 short bed

    New member of the community with a 2017 double cab short bed SR5 4x4
    Currently looking to purchase a bed cover and beyond confused with all the options out there
    Checked out the thread on the site and doesn't appear to be any true GOAT
    Looking at the Truxedo Pro X17 soft roll up and the BakFlip MX4 tri fold hard top as my choices in soft vs hard top. At almost twice the price the Truxedo is gaining momentum on the decision making process. I don't really keep anything valuable in the truck bed unless i'm in it, so just looking for a good product that will keep the bed reasonably dry and provide some protection.
    If anyone has any suggestions on soft vs hard top i'm all ears.
