I'm doing some looking online for these IK22 spark plugs everyone swears by. The FSM states that there needs to be double prongs on the end. However I can't seem to find any with that requirement. Is that necessary to have?
Right now I'm running second gen S/C with 3.4L. no 7th injector. I am running the Quantum L340 PH E85 fuel pump. Cold Air Intake with a catch can. I'm having an idle issue that is to this point pissing me off. It'll idle normal until closed loop sets in then it shoots up to 2300. Adjusting the idle screws on the throttle body doesn't do shit. What's interesting is I can reduce the injector volume on my scan tool and it will run the optimum idle speed at -6% injector volume. I'm running the Split Sec piggy and right now I have 10 across the board. My fuel trims are 19.5 for short term and 0 for long. I can't find any vacuum leaks. I'm thinking the spark plugs will help with that and the random misfiring.

Double prong is just for longer service life. Spark jumps the shortest gap. So hypothetically, left prong, then right, then left, ect ect (not exact). I've run Bkr-7e (copper single electrode) with no issues boosted in the past. Actually alot on various engines. You need to gap all plugs properly. I do have Ik22 in there currently.
The throttle body screws/tps adj are very sensitive and can mess things up real quick. I would reset them to factory spec. Mine got wonkey when messed with.
You might actually look at the throttle body. Take it off the manifold. Hold it up to the sky and look for daylight around the throttle plate. These TBs don't have a thrust washer and wear into the bore over time, creating a air gap. This causes high idle. Send it to MaxBore. They will machine a new larger bore and new plate to seal perfect, then adjust the Tps and plate screw. My truck has never idled better since.
