I love how lunar rock changes so much in different lighting conditions. It’s an awesome color

 

Baby got a new pair of shoes! Duratrac 265/70R17 on 4Runner rims.

Yeah it does. Toyota got that color right. I think it looks really good with black accessories or trims. There is a Rav4 at work that’s lunar rock and has a lot of black mixed in and it’s amazing!

 

Yours looks to match WAY better than mine....Maybe it's lighting?? In this picture my topper actually looks "more lunar" than my truck

Yea it's strange. Its sort of bothering me but I guess I'll get over it. Maybe in the summer it will look better. Or maybe after a 12 pack.

 

You can always have a few different people look at it and if they think its off too, you can take it back to your local dealer and get their opinion. I've heard leer has good customer service and might pay to have it repainted.

 

I was just gonna say the same thing. Flares & cap are nearly a perfect match.

 

I may contact dealer. I need some more in person opinions. My wife seems to think it's ok but can we really trust her opinion?? She did marry me after all....I guess if it really bothers me, I could get it wrapped in black. Worst case I mean. I'll probably just calm down a bit and live with it like a big boy though.

What’s the fuse amperage you’re using?

If I did my math right 15w at 12v = 2 amp fuse.

edit: Or am I supposed to calculate on the output? 15w at 5v = 3 amp so a 7/7.5 amp fuse should work with the +10%.

I think I’ll go with this along with usb c adapters since I’m using two mag chargers

Lots of videos on youtube. Basically you pre-treat the truck with the Absolute in a pump sprayer to loosen/encapsulate the dirt, then sponge wash using Absolute in a bucket. Follow with a quality drying towel & you're done. Quick, easy. no scratches, best wash routine I've ever tried.

Your fender flares, bumper cap & topper match. Odd as it may sound, I think your truck's color is off. Looks lighter than others I've seen.

This would honestly push me to trading it in. Or killing someone. Then trading it in.

 

I like that adapter better than mine! I’m using a 5amp fuse for now but considered stepping up to a 7.

 

You were right, what a difference they new H9 bulbs make. Best inexpensive mod so far.

 

Which bulbs did you go with? Only thing I can seem to find locally is the Sylvania but the Philips or Osram seem to be more desirable and easily available online. TIA.
