Got 10lbs of wings on the OK Joe Highland, pigs in a blanket, and fancy buffalo chicken dip. The spread is about to come together so I'll be sure to drop a pic. Whats everyone else got for National Buffalo Chicken Dip Day?

I think it's upside down. Just spent a week in what I call the food capital of the world - orient bay, St Martin.

This was a boneless half duck with hoisin sauce.

It's $$$ there because it's essentially a seasonal beach town on an island. But good lord, is that food phenomenal at all the restaurants. Didn't have my phone to take pictures at a lot of places but I snagged one here.

 

Had breakfast after church at our new favorite breakfast cafe. Just me watching the big game today…if I can avoid the food coma.

 

Wife is vegan so I am absolutely making that cauliflower Al pastor. Maybe this week maybe not. I'm making salsa this week so maybe.

PS another thing to try - hearts of palm shred nicely similar (ish) to pork shoulder.

Delicious, I saw a recipe for crab birria tacos and I've wanted to make it.

Four varieties of carpaccio

Lemon Zest, lemon juice, kosher salt, olive oil

Lemon juice, herbs, black pepper, olive oil

Tapenade

Capers, balsamic, black pepper, fluor de sel

All with shaved Parma

 

Been eating less meat. (Sharing a small steak tonight!). But I blistered some broccolini in the same pan after the steak. Plus some garlic mushrooms.

 

Coma….
