Upon what data do you base this statement?

Same here on a overloaded F150. Had maybe 1500 lbs in the bed rolling along about 75 or 80 and had some cheese dick pull out directly in front of me running about 30. I could not have pushed the pedal any harder, tires didnt pulse like the ABS was kicking in and I finally was about 10 feet from his bumper when I stopped gaining on him. My load dented the shit out of the front of the bed and had a hell of a brake pulse the very next stop.

It was almost worth it when he realized what was going on, a big ball of yellow smoke shot out of his exhaust and you could see his truck jump when it dropped down gears. LOL

I am so sick of changing rotors and pads after panic stops. And no, I don't drive like a lunatic, leave plenty space in front of me etc. I am on my 4th set with only 85k on the truck. My super duty Ford F450 had 250K on the original rotors which were only replaced due to heat cracks. Can anyone recommend pads that don't glue themselves to the rotors?

Fixed my problem. If you call they are very good to recommend what would be best for your setup and driving style.

155k on the original pads and rotors. Replaced the pads and cut the original rotors.

Try getting some high quilty rotors. I have been using power stop rotors and pads for towing. I carry over 600 lbs of armor with bumpers and a winch on the truck and tools in the box. So I upgraded. Over 45,000 and still got about 6mm left
