When I go over a pothole or a decent dip in the road, I get a SLAM sound from the rear. Seems worse on the passenger side, or maybe there's just more potholes there. Truck isn't even loaded! Just me driving to work! Sound has gotten progressively worse over the last year or so.

I had the leaf springs replaced with the recall several years ago.
Do I need new shocks? Leaf springs? Could it be something else?
Should I load it up and test it some more?

    2007, TRD, Crew Cab

I don't know even 10% of what you all know about vehicles here! So I really appreciate any guidance you can give.

Check your shocks. Mine did this a few weeks ago.
