    Took off my sway bar a few days ago. Feels a little like my old ranger edge with camburg LT race kit… won’t be putting it back on.

    I’ve been around for a long time, I just don’t post unless I mod and I haven’t done any mods on a truck in a year or two.

    edit: I’m still grateful for the welcome!

    Welp...dropped her off at the dealership this morning for:
    • TRD lift
    • 265/75/16 Duratracs
    Special instructions:
    • Save all old parts
    • Don't touch my fog lights
    The dealership ended up being able to get the tires today (but they wouldn't arrive until later in the day - so I am picking it up tomorrow morning)...and they are buy 3 get 1 free there. So I'm actually really only paying a tiny bit more for the tires than what I anticipate getting for my stock 265/70/16 Goodyears with 270 miles on them.

    I intend to take only back roads home (which is going to add some travel time) - but something about cruising down the highway at 70+ mph after picking it up from the service department doesn't feel right to me. And yes, I'm going to be that guy that inspects every bolt out on the lot before I leave.

    The good news is that by the time it does hit your truck (if it does) - it will have dried mostly (or been to heavy to be carried by the wind and fell long before it got to your truck anyway). So I think that, especially if you have a recent coat of wax on there, it will come off quite easily.

    Certainly not the smartest thing to be doing that so close to parked vehicles, and obviously they would be responsible for paying any costs associated with fixing the paint, from a legal liability standpoint.

    Classic case of being unaware of their surroundings (or only caring about their job). Ugh, that sucks.
    I have learned through stupid mistakes that some paints come off of cars fairly easily with a little soap and persuasion. No idea about the paint they were using, and I sure hope the droplets dried up as the wind blew them to your truck.

    @deaps , @MrMobile
    The company paid me to get my truck washed which didn’t remove the paint specs. They’re now paying $325 for detailing my truck and at least 5 others. Acetone removes the specs

    Make sure that whatever they do to get the paint off...that you get a nice coat of wax on it when it comes back to you (unless they do that as well) - because there definitely won't be any left on it when they're done.
