I've gotten a lot of interest from people down south for my '91.

Jokes on them I'm never selling it.

Only $290 and I could have a tiny oil filter as well!

Think I might sneak out for a long loop on Sunday when the roads are quiet and its supposed to be sunny and in the 40s. First big trip, so I'll tuck a snack and some water in the cases.

Lots of open backroads, some good small town food options, a historical landmark or two (Stockton Jail and Tintic mining), and some of the best beef jerky (really more like smoked skirt steak its so big) on the continent.

It depends on what you want. Like the Tacoma a lot of the Japanese bikes are reliable but lack in tech and are a bit boring in some ways. A BMW K series is the equivalent of a luxury European SUV to a Tacoma SR. There’s a price to be had for enjoying the fancier luxury things sometimes.

Huh, didn't realize we had such a strong MG fanboy here. My bad.

And you can do your own research about MG reliability. Some of them like the V7 seem to be "reliable" only because they're so outdated. On something like the new V100 Mandello I'd be more worried about reliability vs a Japanese bike.

And they're owned by Piaggio. Just go look at Aprilia if you want to see what kinds of "quirks and features" those bikes have.

You can ride or like whatever you want but you'll never convince me an MG is as reliable as a Honda.

I stumbled upon this video, and it's a great illustration of the completely different perspectives here in the U.S.A. and elsewhere in the world. His glee if fun, and the end is funny as well.

Yes, I may be obsessing about getting one of these bikes... a little.... especially because this one is available.

I would love to have a Moto Guzzi Norge except for 2 things, first they stopped making it several years ago and second, it won't take much research to begin uncovering horror stories about electrical issues that apparently plagued them.

For a short time there was a Guzzi dealership only one mile from my house. Shop called Europa Machina that primarily does European auto restoration work, mostly Porsche stuff. The owners wife somehow ended up with an antique Moto Guzzi and wanted to restore it. They had a hard time getting older parts or info, found there was no other sealer anywhere around so they decided the best way to handle it was to become a dealer. This worked for a short time until they were told they would have to now start handling Piaggio scooters if they wished to continue with Moto Guzzi so they dropped it. From a handful of short conversations with them it sounded like Piaggio/MG were not very friendly to deal with.

I put down a deposit to hold the Tuareg 660. Now I just need to sell the 250 Rally so I have room for the Tuareg.

I love my little Rally, but truth be told....if I had it to do over, I would have gone with one of those with the Rally Raid spoked wheels/suspension.
