I bought a replacement for a missing (front) hub center cap on my 2005 Tacoma SR5 with the steel wheels.

I noticed that the remaining front center cap is different that the rears and the replacement I bought.

Are all 4 caps supposed to be the same?

The one on the left has missing and damaged clips, but matches the others.
The one on the right was mounted on the front/driver’s side.

They're all interchangeable front to rear. Millions of these caps were made by Toyota over the past 19 years. There were probably multiple vendors and minor design changes along the way.
