First, here's a link to CL ad: https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/d/manassas-2001-chevrolet-silverado-1500/7589875997.html

So I inherited this from my wife's grandfather about two or three years ago. He was older and mostly drove this to the dump or hardware store. Which is why the mileage is so low. He bought it new and always had it serviced at the selling dealership. Probably too much.

Anyway, I got it and did a ton of preventative work to it because it sat so much. I cleaned the crap out of it, put some carpet in it, and got the paint looking nice. The truck is super clean, but not perfect. No rust that I can see, which is unusual for these trucks. It's a nice truck for its age and I love to drive it. It just doesn't fit my needs. You'll see in the ad all the work that's been done. Not all of it was absolutely necessary. I understood that the truck was old and tried to stay ahead of what may or may not happen. I was commuting in it 140 miles round-trip and didn't feel like sitting on the side of the road. So don't think it NEEDED all of those parts.

I'll answer any questions you have as quickly as I can. The $9k price is somewhat negotiable. I really had trouble trying to find what to ask for it. There's no other truck like it that I could find for sale. KBB says around $7k for TRADE-IN, so I priced off that.
