Alpine INA-W900BT G.P.S. antenna

Anyone that has installed this HU, Where is the gps antenna installed, under the dash? The directions say to mount it on the dash next to the window, surely there is another place to put it so it is not seen right?

 

mines run from the unit behind the glove box and up towards the corner of the passanger side windshield....

 

It still is hidden under the dash isnt it? thanks

 

yup its still hidden unless i open the glove box then i can see the wire.

 

My antenna on my Pioneer is sitting directly on top of my receiver inside the dash. Have never had any reception issues.

In my old truck I had it mounted above the head unit, under the dash. The antenna has a magnet, and I stuck it to the metal bar under the dash. Worked great.

In this truck there is a ton of stuff behind the radio, and I decided to move it out a bit, free up a bit of room.
