Hi, system keeps prompting me to post here, I figure it is a good opportunity to tell a bit of my experiences with Tacomas. Got a '95 SR5, 3.4l 4X4 in 2020, had 296k on the odometer, loved it, trusted it. It didn't let me down, even when a pine tree fell onto the road in front of me, we rolled 3 times down an embankment, stood up on our nose and busted the cab off(have to retrieve photos) doors still opened afterwards. Decided on the way home afterwards that I was getting another, this time I wanted a standard drive, I now daily a '97 Tacoma base model with 2.7l 4X4 with 5speed manual (W59), in black and white, had 312k when I bought, has 337k now. Feel that I got my money's worth from the '95, and am getting it from the '97.
