Which cell phone holder are you using?

aren't we in the 3rd gen sub-forum here? don't they all have at least bluetooth?

 

You can get wireless android auto if you use the Carplay AI Lite by Onecarstereo. I use that along with a quad-lock wireless charger mount so I can have everything wireless and easy to mount/take off.

 

10/10 would recommend this. I was able to put the magnet inside my phone case towards the top so it still works with my wireless chargers too.

 

No you don't have to drive a new car cause I had this hands free voice recognition in my 2010 Venza.just saying

I use the cupholder in my front cup holders. I purchased the band that goes around the cup portion. You could probably use rubber bands as a hack.

this is my phone holder. its last over 35 years. ive actually have never had more then one hand on the steering wheel.

 

And for when I’m not using the phone holder… now I just need to paint match it.

I love the offRoam have one in my F-150 too and its great and stays put off road.

 

I don’t use one personally, but I’ve heard positive reviews for the Weather Tech “cup phone” item.

 

I designed my own RAM mount and use an X-grip.

 

I hold my phone to my head, while shifting manual, and turning left with my knee. Bluetooth drains the battery too fast, so I never have it on.

Don't you remember how dumb people looked when they had a bluetooth headset and walking around looking like they're talking to no one?

you just drop it in there and it clamps itself down. No need to adjust anything to secure the phone. I have it clipped on top of the trim surrounding the radio near the passengers side and it augments my radio well for when I’m using the GPS on my phone.

 

Ram Mount X-grip. Only phone holder ever worth considering for an off road vehicle imo.
