Thats why they moved them to 16" OC, so when you need to take one out, you have an "extra". It's all in the math's .

Had Termites in the garage a couple years ago and had the exterminator take care of that issue, finally got around to tearing out the last of the damaged area.

    nice!

technically, those neutral lugs aren't rated to be doubled or tripled.

and because this is a main panel, there's no problem in running any of the grounds to the neutral bar instead of the ground bar. the bonding screw attaches them to make them equal.

So the shield is ground AND the neutral return? Maybe I'm missing something, never encountered that.

NICE spacious panel for expansion! WOW.

I assume the doubled whites are to allow future room.

That said, nice job. I like to be slow with electrical - laugh, but my stuff ain't sparkin'!!

Earth ground is top left, fairly hidden by the wires. Neutrals are doubled because the bar is super short, surprisingly. I have it on my list to hunt for a longer neutral bar and a ground bar for the bottom right where there are holes to mount a second one. Kinda wish that all came standard with the panel, didn’t think I had to upgrade it from stock.

But the circuits feed in pairs of like gauge and grounds are twisted so pairing neutrals makes some sense.

Oh but you were asking about the supply feed? It’s 3 conductor 2/0 Al from what I can see. Same to the meter. Panel ties ground and neutral together so it’s all the same. My guy said subs have to keep them separate but the main ties them together? Not super sure on this aspect.

Since we're on the topic of service panels I have a question. My 200 amp box was a mess, so I cleaned it up. One of the things I noticed when I got all the wires out was a 2nd bar (top bar in the pic). The bottom bar has the main ground attached to the bottom screw, but the top bar doesn't. Shouldn't the bars be connected by a xx_gauge wire?

Between kitchen and garage. Hence insulation as garage is not heated.

The one the plumber sliced up.

I’m trying to decide if I go PON GFCI or receptacles. Since the panel is so close.

I would be willing to bet that they forgot to screw that box to the wall and its only attached to the upper on the left of it
