    Hi All,
I owned a 2017 Toyota Tacoma and just turning it in for Transmission Inspection and Maintenance. My truck's transmission skips on take-off sometimes and having it inspected, finding out that there is a recall on transmission and rusty chassis. Now, I was told that the transmission fluid lines are rusted! I hope this is covered in the extended warranty!

I believe that during the rusted chassis recall, Toyota may have failed to realized that galvanic reaction took a toll on other smaller components especially the brake and transmission fluid lines. Wouldn't you all think that Toyota should cover those related defects?

    Welcome to TW!!

Lucky you getting a frame replacement! As for the transmission lines, check with the ZKA customer support program to see if any coverage.
I got this info from reading TXTaco211's Frame Replacement thread in the 2nd Gen. Tacoma's forum.
Start a thread there too.
