The time has come to sell my favorite truck. I'm not even sad, just need to find a good home. I live with my favorite wife, my favorite kids, my favorite dog, and we all live together in my favorite house. We just don't fit in the old favorite truck anymore so it's got to go. I put some feelers out recently and I think now is the time. Not sure what to upgrade to yet, but something with more cab space for sure.

It has been taken care of and babied. I've worked from home the entire time owned, and I purchased from Boch Toyota somewhere in Massachusetts. They suck balls, never ever shop from them. But they had this in stock and it's what I wanted so I put up with their stench. Just double check their math at every step of the process. Even math you already checked. Just sayin...

The first iteration was just stock Baja. The TRD supercharger was installed by A1 Toyota in New Haven, CT within the first year. This ensured the warranty covered the supercharge as "Factory Installed". I had an extended Toyota warranty for 7 years, 100k. The supercharger was covered by that warranty. Never needed it, but it was a nice thing.

We moved to Colorado in 2015 and this guy met the mountains. Vermont was cool, but this was legit. Added the armor, sliders, camper top, and most the extras. Great camping truck and can climb like a billy goat. Most miles were open road driving to Maine, Vermont, moving out to Colorado and then to Texas.

Here's the full list of stuff. I can get pictures of detail once it stops raining and I can get it washed and cleaned out. The move has been crazy hectic.

Here is a car and driver write up of the 2013 Tacoma Baja.

2013 T|X Baja Tacoma 4x4 Shortbed in Black Sand Pearl - Stock Engine Tune.
    • 2013 T|X Baja, V6 Supercharged, 5 speed automatic, 4x4 Base
      • Off-Road tuned front and rear TRD Bilstein racing shocks
      • Electronically-controlled locking rear differential
      • Active Traction Control (A-TRAC)
      • Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC)
      • Downhill Assist Control (DAC)
      • Cooper ST Maxx LT255 /85 R16 - Installed 2019 with 45k miles on truck - on spare as well, Discount tire - I love the extra lift and stance with these guys on.
      • Bead-lock style off-road wheels with exclusive Gun-Metal Gray finish
      • TRD Cat-Back Exhaust
      • Increased front ride height by nearly two inches (leveling kit)
      • Matte Black T/X Baja Vehicle Side Graphics
      • Exclusive TRD Tailgate Badge
    • 63,747 miles on Feb 9, 2023.
    • Sat/Nav Radio package
    • Garage kept since 2016
    • RCI Kick-out Rock Sliders
    • RCI Front skid
    • Oil Drain Valve for easier draining
    • Rubber Door trim
    • Weathertech mats
    • Window Vents
    • Rear view Mirror relocate mount - Makes it higher up so you can see better if a tall person.
    • Tekonsha P3 brake controller
    • Shift knob - looks cool, won at a Toytech raffle
    • Diamond plate Door sill protectors - some guy on here was making them a while back. Freaking badass these things. My door sills always get beat up from my boot lace things. Not with these suckers. Black powdercoat and tough as all get out. Still as beautiful as the day I installed them. Best thing ever.
    • Keyed hitch lock - fit to match the ignition key
    • Wet okale - Rear seat covers from day one. Protect against dogs and kids.
    • Snugtop Rebel Camper top: Serial J30290 - I worked with S-Cargo in Loveland, CO to have it sent back to Snugtop and refurbed. An awesome dude here on Tacomaworld @Rock-N-Roll had it sitting in his backyard and gave it up for free. S-Cargo and Snugtop rebuilt it all for about $1300. Repaint Black Sand Pearl, reseal windows, redo electronics (add it to alarm), and fix up the latching mechanism. Great dudes William and Bill at S-Cargo. Wired with quick disconnect to remove easy.
    • Firestone RideRite Airbags - Joe at Rocky Mountain Automotive in Fort Collins, CO installed these for me. Love it, run 15lbs usually.
    • Daystar cradles for the RideRite bags.
    • Supercharger, dealer installed and factory warrantied. Full stock, never modified.
    • Toyota T badge on the front grill - Another tacoma world special. I have the stock toyota badge somewhere. still looking.
    • Us off road hidden winch front bumper insert
    • Smittybuilt x2o winch
    • Cab mount chop by FORTify Rigs @YamaDirtrider @Red Baron
    • Tinted windows - small peeling on passenger corner
    • Viper alarm with Remote start
    Extras
    • Original Intake and plugs - you can see in the picture how clean it was when the SC was installed.
    • AFE CAI MagnumForce AIS Stage-2 Si, Pro Dry S - new in box - Waited for warranty to expire then didn't want to wake up the baby with it, LOL
    • Full set Eibach Pro-Truck Sport shocks - won in raffle at Toytech - 2x E60-82-007-02-01 (Rear) and 2x E60-82-007-02-10 (Front).
    • Pretty much all the stuff that ever came off or was used.
    • Extang tri-fold - small patch from when a hurricane blew it up and hit the shark fin. I have all the mounting hardware.
    • Morimoto XB LED Fog lights. Model Toyota 812XD. Also have factory fogs.
    • Mud flaps - I think I trashed the factory but have some Rockblokz that I've had on at times.
    • Philips gt200 bulbs for headlights - not installed, on the project list.
    • Bumper air dam - OE parts
    • Extra trailer wiring
    • Some gear clamps, bed stiffeners.
    • Engine Bay extra fuse mount.
    Maintenance Schedule
    • Warranty and repair work done over the years at,
      • A1 Toyota in New Haven
      • Peterson Toyota Fort Collins
      • Rocky Mountain Automotive Fort Collins
      • Some Toyota dealership in Dallas on a trip once. A/C Went out in Texas in August. Nope.
      • Lifetime alignment done at Firestone every 10k
      • Regular oil changes at every 5k
      • Drivetrain zerks greased every 10k

    Known Issues
    • Surface rust on sliders from rock kickup. Never really dragged them as I was pretty cautious. Getting in/out at Pole Hill road is my idea of puckering up.
    • Tailgate - Backed into a weird angled tree that just clipped the top a bit. Closes just fine and doesn't leak with the topper so I never fixed it.
    • Small bit of tint peeling on passenger upper corner.
    • Winch control box mounts broke, rattles a bit.
    • Runs freaking great.
I will pay to have it detailed before sold. I'm currently NW of Houston Texas in the Magnolia/Woodlands area. Will be traveling to Colorado at the end of the month and can deliver anywhere along the way. Contact me here or at jay.stahle@gmail.com if you are serious.

    GLWS as well.

Couple of questions that potential buyers will have:
Do you have any modifications to the engine besides just the base TRD Supercharger? Is it just the TRD tune loaded on by the dealer or an aftermarket tune? Smaller pulley? Quick change pulley? NST lightweight pulleys? Upgraded fuel pump?
Posting some photos of the engine bay would be helpful.

Other questions: How old are the tires? What are the DOT codes on the sidewall? You say you don’t drive much and if they already have 20k on them, they could be 5+ years old for all we know.

Which AFE intake model is it?

What model/coil spring rate/travel are the Eibach suspension? I haven’t heard people talk about any Eibach stuff for a 2nd gen, so it’s unclear what you have there.

Edited with some more pictures and clarified the tires, SC, and part numbers for Eibach springs and CAI. Thanks for the tips. I'll get the actual Manufacture codes tomorrow.

Hi everyone, thank you for all the interest. Its overwhelming and I love Tacomaworld. Seriously, the interest got me motivated to get it detailed and officially on the market. I will update the post with full pictures of the truck when I pick it up tomorrow. And its OBO; I'll take what I can sell it for based on the offers I get in the next 3 weeks. I'm looking to see if anyone on Colorado wants the truck before I drive it up there at the end of the month. Otherwise, there is really no rush. I'm just parking it in the garage until it sells.

I see a brake controller attached to the lower dash.
What did you tow with the truck and how often? How heavy was the loaded trailer?

Do you monitor transmission pan and torque converter temps while towing and have you had the transmission fluid and/or filter serviced?

I got the brake controller used off a Tacomaworld member about a year ago. I haven't towed anything. I've borrowed my father in law's utility trailer a couple of times to move some boxes around. This truck has not seen a hard life. I just wanted to make sure I had a controller in case I ever ended up towing something in the mountains unexpectedly.

I've officially lost the title and have requested a new one. I do not have an ETA on that process. Just an update for those watching this thread.

Update 2: Colorado thinks there is a lien on the title, even though it was already issued to me. My bank has sent me the letter of lien release (snail mail WTF  ) and I expect to receive it any day. I have all the paperwork lined up to send back to Colorado once I get the release to attach. It took CO roughly 2 weeks to send me the rejection so I am expecting a 2 week turn around to get my title from when I send it in. I am hoping that happens Wednesday of this week. Fingers crossed. At least now I think I have an end in sight and can actively shop this without reservation.

If you are one of the interested parties who has reached out to me: I will try to go back through the messages, but you are better off watching this thread and contacting me again.

I just had it inspected and it has a 4/24 sticker in the window. I also replaced the cracked windscreen so that's new as well.

I will check email, inbox on TacomaWorld, and texts. I prefer email.

Update 3: Received the release of lien and it went out postmarked today. I expect it have title in hand by end of next week.

Thanks for everyone’s feedback. TacomaWorld has been an amazing asset and the people here are great. Nobody should buy this truck from me. Especially without a title and a contract. Don’t be stupid and don’t trust me. Bring your own mechanic, don’t trust mine. I like Jeremy at Magnolia auto though. Seems like a very solid shop. Repaired an AC line on the truck last summer. Cost me 10% of the job the dealer in Conroe quoted me and most of what the dealer said was bullshit. Anyways, don’t do anything on trust. You don’t know me.

update 4: title in hand truck for sale. No deposits. I only offered that because it had been requested by a TW member @mrcollier91 but the clenching of panties and clutching pearls got my thread locked so forget it.

Moot now with title in hand. Cashiers check works good. Truck has 64040 miles right now. Any offers are welcome.
