seriously. i already heard that story.

someone my family knew, she kept her suburban in the garage, and then hung up her purse with the key's near the garage man door. for reasons that are unclear, she always left the garage unlocked. too trustworthy or something.

for a unknown number of months, a local group of no-gooder's found out their garage was unlocked and had unrestricted access to the suburban. but they always returned it by morning, so she was none-the-wiser. she spent countless nights wondering why she was suddenly going through gas so much faster.

finally one night one of the kids had a medical emergency in the middle of the night, so she rushed out to the garage to bring the kid to the hospital, only to find the suburban gone.

they used the dad's vehicle and got the kid taken care of, then got the police out to file a police report at about 2am. at about 3am, the suburban rolls up to the house...
