2013 Taco “the Appliance”

Recently picked up a 2013 sport taco and have been trying to do things to it to make it feel like less of an appliance. Stock this thing just feels so boring but I think it’s coming along

when I picked it up it was essentially stock with the exception of the wheels and the snug top camper shell over the bed

 

Took it up to ski resort and at the stock form. Ran into severe fog so determined the stock fog lights were complete trash so upgrading to LEDs.

 

Threw in some yellow LED fog lamps to replace the stock ones

 

The snug too has shocks were shot and didn’t work well in the cold so I replaced those with some new units

 

Installed MESO map light which is super nice and I think I will want to get the dome light setup as well

 

Acquired a brand new OEM sport grill. Threw a TRD Pro grill into it.

 

Shot up to the ski resort again

 

Got the front end looking pretty solid. Not sure how I feel about the lights in the grill

 

Threw in rough country molee panels into the bed for additional tie down spots. Also redid the snug top lighting in the shell and threw in a 12” LED light bar into the shell to light up the bed at night

 

Initially put these Amazon knobs in but then sprung for the AJT knobs for a more premium feel
