HELP! SOS Bumper Sheared off the frame

    My SOS Concepts bumper sheared the frame where it mounted. Anyone have this happen? What can be done?

    Looks like the mounting points weakened from the rust.
    i would go to a body shop or find a welder to weld on a flat plate and remount the bumper.

    That’s the only option I could think of as well. Was hoping there were others who might’ve had this happen and could say what they did and how it worked out

    Yes, the frame horns are notoriously weak, and our frames are notorious for rust. Looks like your powers combined.

    Need to remove both frame horns and replace with plate. I'd suggest drilling holes and using separate bolts.
