    convert to a 5vz engine and tranny from a 1997 T100 4wd a/t
I'm new to this forum and seeking information and any help available regarding my 3VZ-FE 3.0L to 5VZ-Fe 3.4L engine conversion into a 95 4Runner A/T 4WD.

I'm not a mechanic so my knowledge is limited to researching online and practical experience on my truck.

My doner engine is from a 98 Tacoma which is installed and it started but needs a little tweaking.
My current transmission is an "A340h" and I had to change to a "30-40LE", this is from a 97 T100.

My issue is that It carried three indicator switches at the rear of the transmission. one on the right side and two on the left looking towards the bell housing. I think they are for 4WD, Neutral, and L4 indicator switches. Can anyone indicate which switch is the 4WD, L4, and Neutral? as I have no clue. Can you also identify the pin connections for the solenoids?
What would happen if your rear dif ratio is different from the front wheel dif?

    Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks

    Welcome.
90-95 4Runner is one of my all time fav body styles.
Don’t know much about the engines but love that you’re keeping it alive.
