damn you beat me to it!

also heated seats are awesome, i wish my Tacoma had them. My first "grown up" car had them a 2003 Honda accord, a 2007 VW Jetta, later my 2005 F350 and driving home after being beat up under cars all day long a bit of heat on the body was amazing. my wife got herself a 2020 Subaru ascent with a heated steering wheel... let me just say in really cold weather that is absolutely amazing on the hands.

Wife and I keep putting off buying some new WetOkole seat covers. Gonna order them with the heated inserts when we finally bite the bullet.

I've installed seat heating elements in my past three vehicles and my GFs last car. I love them.

no block heater. Was that part of your package for heated seats?

No idea what package got me the seats but must have been bundled with something.

If you live in a cold climate region, they should be standard equipment, especially if you have leather/Softex seating surfaces. Never thought I'd want them until I had them.

Im assuming it was. I bought it used with 40k. Truck is originally Canadian, sold new in northern Alberta. Some dealers offered what is/was referred to as a “cold climate” package or something along those lines. Heated seats, block heater and a list of other option such as upgraded starter for dealing with colder temps.

I had Toyota put seat heaters in my 2013, I wish I had just put the heater in the back part of the seat and not the bottom. The heat feels better on my back on a long drive. I can do without the heat on my butt.

My dad was the exact same way lol. Said heated seats were useless. Until he got a truck that had them

    I drive a Miata.
I run a set with my Clazzios. When I first installed covers I thought "nah, I don't need to shell the extra dough for dang ol' heaters, I live in Texas." Then I upgraded the other car for a Mazda that came with hot seats and steering wheel, and was filled with a minor pang of regret.

Fast forward, and I stumble across a fellow member on here who is unloading his kit for a reasonable price. Sold.

Compared to the Mazda, yeah, they aren't that. The little car will take your ass from stone cold to a 2nd degree burn in 2 minutes flat. Man, that hatchback has some hot ass seats.

The aftermarkets in the truck are more of a Crock-Pot cooker than an oven broiler. Slow to come up to temperature (over 5 minutes to a comfortable warm, and over 10 before they're at maximum) and they don't ever roast your nards. But by gar, they are nice. I love them. Probably because I can leave them on high all day and be warm, without roasted nards.

Rolling home from work, windows down, 55 degrees outside, and the seats on hot. It's amazing.

I have heated seats in my car and when I got the Taco, that was top on my list of things to do - Clazzios w/ heater elements; like you said - not killer hot but enough to keep me warm and my back feeling fine.

I love driving when it is cool out/borderline cold - with the windows down, the heated seats on and sometimes the heat on my feet [cause I usually drive without shoes on] - that fresh cool air feels great and I don't get chilly!

Glad to hear it! Warm up time isn’t too big of a deal. I live in Maine and leave for work at 6am so my truck isn’t up to temp for 10 minutes of the drive anyways lmao. We had -20 with a -40 windchill a couple weeks ago. I wish more manufacturers did what jeep does: Offer a winter package (heated seats AND WHEEL) in lower trim levels. Pretty sure you can get it in base trim or one level up from base. Heated wheel is the ONE feature I like from luxury trucks but I don’t need all the other shit like leather seats and parking sensors. JUST LET ME GET HEATED SHIT ON MY BASE MODEL lmao

Have to trust you on that one - even in the summer I keep the heat on otherwise my back gets really tight.

I’ve been installing heated seats in every one of my vehicles since 2010 . Once you have them you can’t go without. I have always got my kits from
Heatyourseat.com a chech corpation. There a little pricey for the kit but damn they get hot!!!! . I also added them for my rear passengers as well57156C68-8FC4-4505-AF88-9378EED4403B.jpgF45BE7F5-8624-49A6-A4D3-FF483DD2D848.jpg
