LOL…just got back from a small road trip in my 21 SR last week, lifted on 34’s, an absolute beat of a vehicle. Between the wind, the ride (not that bad) and not needing that little monster, I decided to try out the Ridgeline on Friday. It rides like a caddy and is now parked in the driveway, I’ll really miss the Tacoma, there’s probably another in my future, I’ve owned a few of them.

Looked under the trk today. My sumo springs are partially compressed against the frame. I've got 200 lbs of sand tubes (to help with traction in winter driving here in WI) and a fiberglass Leer 100R Topper (approx weight 160 lbs) so I'm thinkin of ditchin the Sumos and reinstalling my OEM bump stops. Whadda think?

ahhh, there is your problem. I am running about the same weight in mine. Rides great, even with *37 psi in my standard load Yokohama G015 ATs.

*37 psi what they are set at, will fluctuate with temperature swings. If I start out at 32, when the temp dips it will cause the TPMS to trip.

Led headlight and fog lights. Messo TTS1 kit.
I have a 19 with the same shocks and sumo springs in the rear After adding the cap the sumo springs were touching the frame and the ride got rougher. I added a set of road master active suspension to the leaf springs. It got the frame off the sumo springs and smoothed out the ride. Also adding sumo’s to the front helped also.

You should be able to lower your tire pressure and then reset the TPMS for the new pressure.

My first service trip to the dealer they put them that high, I said that is way too much…then drove it, and thought it wasn’t too bad.

Dealer did the same with my stock Hankooks, at 37 psi my lighter weight SR access cab was a harsh ride, bounced on every pebble and felt jittery steering, lowered back down to 32 psi as soon as I got home. Much better!

My Yokos don’t seem that bad, do also carry around a couple hundred pounds of stuff in the bed too. Topper, sand bags, couple totes with tools, fluids, and whatnot in them.

    A few.
Trade it for a older Ford Raptor. I see owners saying they ride like a luxury car on the street.

I thoroughly endorse 5100 on 0 setting. I have a Sport, not an OR, but the Sport shocks were too stiff. I went with 5100's all round and the ride is great. Any dampening was kept at the suspension and didn't reverb throughout the cab. Drove from Anaheim to El Paso and had no complaints. If I do become inclined to lift in the future, I'd probably just go up a notch, but 0 setting is nice.

That's the difference between the Sport and OR, Stiffness and gear ratios.
