Constant clicking when I’m off the gas from under rear seats.

My 2011 trd sport 6speed double cab recently started making a ticking/clicking sound. seems it’s coming from underneath the ground in front of the rear seats. I got back from a road trip around 2 weeks ago and it started making these sounds but it’s only when I’m not on the gas. The weird thing is that it doesn’t always do it, it’s very random but when it starts it doesn’t stop.they went always for about a week but now their back, It doesn’t effect any driving ability but doesn’t sounds healthy. It can get pretty loud at times and can start to sound like it’s grinding on something. I’d hate to to my truck to a shop so I thought I might see if anyone’s had a similar issue?

    All stock, baby!
Take a look at all of the heat shields bolted to the underside of the cab. From your description, I am dubious they are the cause, but eliminate that before checking anywhere else. They’re notorious for coming off.
