I bought the six simply because I don’t plan on installing as many lights as other people. Replaceable relays was a nice bonus.

I had an 8 gang generic Amazon one and I accidentally blew one of the relays. I replaced it with an 8 gang Auxbeam with the app. I use the app way more than I thought... and I like that I can match the panel backlight colour to orange like everything else in my cab.
    Both of them perform(ed) great!

Also, for anyone that has one of the Auxbeam or other Amazon panels, have you noticed any parasitic draw from the panel while the truck has been turned off?

Nope. But if there was I would assume it would be so little that I wouldn’t notice.

Hey man just got the same one you have! Almost done with the install, I’ll finish when I’m off work. I have a question with the load harness, maybe you could help. Each switch has two corresponding red wires, do both get connected to the positive wire of the light or accessory? And did you just ground the light/accessory ground wire somewhere to the frame?

Awesome! That's correct. I took both red wires and wired them to an accessory. I then took the ground from each accessory and used the stock grounding point right near the battery. Ideally, I would like to get a bus bar for all my ground cables but that's a project that has not come to fruition yet lol.

Appreciate the help! Took your idea and went out and got a bus bar for all my grounds to keep the wiring nice and clean. I ended up blowing a couple fuses while I was testing my lights, (completely my fault for not double checking amps) but this got me thinking if it would be possible to upgrade the fuse and relay for a switch from a 5amp to 20amp. Gonna do some more research on this, what do you think?

Planning to install an 8-gang in my 2015 and potentially mount it in one of the sunglass holders. I know it's a relatively common spot but I'm curious about a couple things if anyone can give some advice. Mostly trying to find out if there's enough clearance that I could still close it up to keep the switch panel out of sight when not in use. Also wondering if anyone has tried the Auxbeam RA80 XL model, it's an 8-gang RGB panel but has larger buttons and doesn't connect to an app. Seems like it should fit in the sunglass holder based on the dimensions and my rough measurements but it's hard to tell for sure.

Has anybody who has added a fuse under the hood fuse box found a good place to route it without cutting the box, so I can actually close the box completely?

Around minute 13 he shows how to run the wire next to the main loom coming out of the box.

No problem, I just got done doing my Auxbeam and was going to wire it into the hood fuse box so the video was still in my youtube history.
Though I couldn't find a fuse that was ignition controlled so I just ran the wire to the box under the steering wheel.

I have been using the INJ-either 10 or 15 Amp fuse- under the hood to power my Raptor lights, I was going to use that for the 8 gauge when I get it.
I had done something similar to the video but instead just lifted the plug and routed it underneath, the plug doesn't go down all the way-It's temporary- so this is a much better permanent fix.

I mounted my 8 gang controller in the eyeglass holder. When cutting the slot for the wire, make it long enough for the full range of opening and closing the holder. I use velcro to hold the controller in place. Velcro holds it real good. Took a wheelin trip to Moab and the controller never moved.
Hope this helps. I just found our post.

Thanks! Looked like it would work fine but I was hoping someone around here had tried it just to confirm. Do you notice the holder swinging around much if you leave it open when you're out wheeling or does it stay fairly still?
