    Hey all,

So I'm in need of some advice here.

On my truck currently I have Ironman 4x4 medium load leaf springs on my truck and am having a bit of a dilemma. I have an RSI Smartcap and a CVT Mt. Washington on the back of it along with my spare tire and am wondering if I should get an add a leaf pack or upgrade to the heavy load springs?

The heavy load are for 600lbs constant and I'm not sure I'm at that threshold yet so I'm asking for some friendly advice.

I'd say wait and see how they settle in with the weight you've got, measure the height and feel how it rides, then go from there

That was my plan. I can already tell a bit of sag is developing. It was pretty obvious when i had the tent installed this weekend.

Go weigh your truck at a certified scale or truck stop. If you have never done that before check out my build thread linked in my signature. There is a how-to in the towing section. They cost $15 and will help you understand how much your Taco's weight changes over time as you make mods and change load-outs.

I need to do that regardless. its more to try and save the longevity of the springs I just put on less than 2k ago.

Contact ironman and see if there is an additional leaf you can order and install to make it into a heavier pack.
