Those light are ridiculously expensive IMO. Definitely get what you pay for but complete overkill. I got the majority of my BD lights on the truck in a trade for work which is the only way I was able to justify the expense. I almost had a similar deal for two LP6s and was planning on putting one out the Harley.

    Definitely look cool though.

Looks cool, but such overkill. I laughed at their disclaimer to not leave it one when it's just sitting there idling, I can't imagine the little tiny stator on these puts out much more than 50watts. Looking at it I can't imagine it'd be too hard to fab up a custom mount for something wtihout "BD" on it and at a more reasonable cost. I can 3d print pretty strong shit and the mounting points aren't particularly tough to figure out and measure.. hmmm..

Also definitely don't look at the rear end of that bike. I think it looks so dumb compared to the rest of it. BikeEXIF did a feature on it the other week: https://www.bikeexif.com/custom-honda-grom-steady-garage

    :duh:

that thing looks like it was rear ended. Ugh. I know people have different tastes but you know there was at least one guy on the design team that didn’t agree with that choice.

I already have a mental parts list for stuff I’d buy and a separate one for things I’d build. I can’t really say what’s holding me back other than the fear that I’d be the guy that puts 100 miles on it after 5 years of ownership.

Anyone else have a 360° camera? I just bought one mainly to use on my sailboat during races but put it on my bike today. It gives you some pretty cool video options.

I can't decide if I want to do the "number plates" in white or black.

My photoshop sucks, but it's a start

Moved the tank bag, it wasn’t terrible in the other location but it did hamper my right turns a bit.

And installed Caffeine on the tablet so the screen doesn’t shut off, and got the windshield risers installed, and got the ram mount ball set so it doesn’t move.
I think I want to get a 90* adapter so the cord doesn’t stick out so bad but I like how the cord management is and all I have to do is add the tablet charger from the battery and run it into the tank bag.
Since I’m so tall this is pretty much in the ideal spot, just a slight glance down to see the GPS, I just won’t be able to tuck down on the tank like I used to on the interstate (but in reality how well can my 6’4” 300lb fat self tuck).

For anyone wondering, the Chief got inverted front forks, Fox rear resis, and dual front brembo brakes this year.

Fairing and handlebars as well, could be sold if not cosmetically/functionally pleasing.

Can anyone recommend some in-boot padded riding pants for under $150?
