Hi everyone. I was looking into lifting my 2016 2wd tacoma. Im new to the truck community so i wanted the best opinions from people who have been in the community for a while now. Im looking into getting a 3" suspension lift. i plan on getting a replacement bumper, both front and back, and adding on 33" tires on a 16" rim. And being that my tacoma is only 2wd, i only plan on using it on moderate trails. i hope this is enough information to help suggest a good company to run my suspension on. Thank you. p.s im open to pricing

I would start off looking at toytec. Good variety of lifts depending on what you’re looking for. If you plan on hitting the trails then uca’s are a good thing to consider while you’re upgrading you’re suspension. If you’ve got the money to spend I’d recommend ome, fox, or even king. But if you don’t have a very big budget, the bilstein 6112’s will get the job done for you.

Welcome to TW! Thinking of lifting my 2wd as well; been told in the past Bilstein 6112s are a good choice as well.

Anyway any pics of the truck :D

On the more expensive side of things, you could do new adjustable coilovers (King, Fox, Icon, etc) in the front, and new leaf packs in the back.

Keep in mind, you'll also have less tire options on a 16" rim. If you go 285/75r16 or 255/55r16 (both the equivalent of 33s) you're likely to only get E rated tires which will ride a bit harder. If you go to 17" rims, you'll be able to get C rated tires too. Something to keep in mind.

Thank you for the recommendation. After doing my research i found that the OME 3 inch lift is the best option for me. This one specifically comes with leaf springs. https://**********/products/ometac-3gen-3med?variant=43424427147504

Most common is a C rating. They'll give you a softer ride than E rated tires.
