Anyone got a part number for this segment of brake line? Seems the connection was corroded and I bent it a little when tightening the uca boltt. Any way I can just get this small segment??

It’s going to be one of these. That looks like the one without ABs. You don’t have abs do you?

Check the diagrams on parts.Toyota.com for yourself to be sure.

i might have that specific part (new) if you need it and can’t find it elsewhere let me know.

I ended up making my own line for that spot b/c the mounting bracket to the flex hose rusted away and I had to figure a new way to mount it. So the stock piece couldn’t line up with the new configuration.

no abs. looks like it would be that middle option in your picture as the 3rd says 2003-2004. maybe i should just tow it into the shop and they can cut the line a little shorter then slip the fitting back on? arggg i was so close to finishing the steering parts and going to get it aligned..what a headache

A little bending won’t hurt it, unless you bend too far and kink it. It’s got to have a little flex y’know. Did you really bend it so that your brakes are compromised or you’re just playing it safe?

the connection to the mounting bracket with the flexy line that goes to the caliper was rusted (nut fitting that goes on the end of the hard line). bending it a little bit made a hole open where the rust was and brake fluid leaked everywhere :( im just gonna have the nearby shop do it..already got it towed over there. was only supposed to be an alignment but hopefully they can rig something up without having to wait on the part. i dont have the tools and dont wanna risk ducking with something important like brakes. definitely compromised brakes. pressing on the pedal made it spray fluid out of that little hole.

Brake fluid holds water and rust lines from inside out....
most likely all the metal parts are gonna give you problems....

brake fluid is supposed to be changed every 4 or 5 years...for synthetic...
and 3 years for the old fashion kind......

The very least I'd do is replace both sides going to the calipers....
that's the ones that get super heated.....and wear the fastest.....

IF they can get the part s....its an easy peasy job....
