I can't even begin to guess how many hours I spent on this forum trying to decide the trim/build I wanted to go with but after all that time and energy spent going through the decision-making process this is what I landed on:

New 2022 TRD Sport 4x4. Premium Sport Package. Automatic. Lunar Rock.
    - It was a really tough decision not going with a manual but I wanted the wife to be able to drive when she wants/needs to. Haven't regretted it (most of the time).

    Mods:
    Bilstein 5100s front and back
    - Fronts are set to the second notch for .65" lift. I considered the third notch based on a lot of forums I read on this site but I wanted to maintain a slight that comes from the factory.
    - I only had the factory setup for about 450 miles but I really preferred the ride after getting the Bilsteins put on. I read so many different opinions about this and I'm sure it's all personal preference but I'm very happy with the result.
    KMC KM718 17x8.5 wheels. 0 offset.
    - I had decided on 16" TRD Pro wheels that came on the Tacoma a few years back but I found these at the last minute and I'm very happy with them. They're very light too compared to a lot of other aftermarket wheels which was a strong selling point.
    265/70r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers
    - I got the lighter version in this size, not the heavier "E" rated.
    Rough Country Side Steps
    Toyota OEM roof rack
    Tacoma TRD Pro Grille
20% window tint front and back

I'm looking at bed covers and there might be a couple of small additions but I'm incredibly happy with how the setup turned out and have no plans to go a higher lift/bigger tire size.

One note in case anybody is curious, I haven't had even the slightest amount of rub at all in the 4k miles or so I've driven since adding everything. So much of what I read suggested there would be some trimming required to prevent rubbing with this tire size and the 0 offset, including a couple of shops I called, but not the case even at full lock.

Happy to be part of the team and let me know if you have any questions.
