I serviced my sxs today. Those Honda engineers dont make servicing these machines easy for us big guys. A buddy of mine just bought a sxs for his family.

 

The tailgate lock actuator is sick. I put one in my dad’s truck. 100% worth it

 

You need you a pole building and a lift up there

 

I hope you love it! That was one hell of a deal too.

From personal experience, I hated my cap and couldnt wait to get rid of it

 

Im already debating about putting it on Marketplace instead of on the back of my truck.

 

I liked my cap when I was commuting back & forth between Baltimore & WV every week. It's was nice not having to worry about cargo getting wet if it rained, or dusty up here on these mountain roads and i no longer had to secure cargo from possibly blowing out at highway speeds. But now that I don't make that drive anymore I thought about taking mine off. I could never replace it for what I paid so I would never sell it, might need it again.

More often than not, I would want to haul something and it wouldnt fit. So i’d end up just using the trailer.

What size mattress is that? I will be needing to move a Queen soon. Wondering how it will fit (although I have a 5ft bed).

 

That was a FULL size in my 6ft bed. The cap always fought me on every move

 

I have a tonneau cover. Might try and strap it down on top of the cover. Wish me luck!

 

A bunch of times, i would haul fire wood up to the roof of the cap, praying nothing moved and the windows wouldnt get smashed out from the inside….

however, I ended up smashing out two of the windows on my own before getting rid of it. Once was because I slid the passenger side sliding window a little too hard in a cold rain storm, the safety glass shattered. Then…i was weed whacking on a charity job and sent a rock through the front sliding glass…


The side window was replaced with tinted plexi that only matched from the outside




the front slider just got regular clear plexi

 

Oh dear

 

Fortunately I have another truck with no cap.

 

I’ll pay double when you want to get rid of it.

 

What could possibly go wrong?
