    yeah, it’s such a sweet bike. It’s my first real MTB in a very long time. Been riding my gravel bike a few times a week for the last couple years and the geo feels really foreign. Actually got bucked pretty hard on a whoop this morning because I shifted my weight the exact wrong way, haha.

    Nothing some time on the bike won’t fix.

    Mmm… Rootdown :drool::drool::drool:

    I’m slowly running out of responsible, adult reasons to not pull the trigger on a Rootdown Ti frame, and this post isn’t helping me at all :D

    Bought my second Abbey Tool, really thought I had something to fit the CK Threadfit 30, but I was wrong.
    Surprisingly this was cheaper than the Park Tool, due to the price free shipping kicks in.

    PSA- The first thing you want to do with any new Fox fork is to take it apart. On almost all of mine (multiple 36's and 34's), the air piston is so full of butter that the air transfer port probably gets clogged (makes the fork pretty harsh). Also check the oil in the lowers. Mine had less than spec.

    How do you like the Izzo?
    It's on my short list for next bike.
    What size?
    I find with all the brands having their own idea of the best geo fra.e sizes aren't as simple as S,M,L,XL anymore.
    I've been a L frame since I started riding, and in the last 4 years I can vary between a M all the way to XXL(only been and XXL on 1)

    I love it but also wished I still had a hard tail as FS is more then I need for the trails I go on, but it sure does make it more comfortable and helps with confidence.

    I've always ridden medium.

    Medium niners, medium surly's, medium YT feels right.

    Thanks. I've had all different types of set-ups over the years (all SUV hitch and roof). This one is by far my favorite. It's a little pricey, but bought it used on eBay for about 55-60% of retail cost. I found several on eBay over the eight months I was waiting for my Taco.

    Great article if you're looking for flat pedal selection. Lots of information and details to pore over. 31 pedals included.

    Funny you mentioned this. That post is aways back in the thread. I haven’t been in here for awhile and was scrolling and came across that post. That rack setup intrigued me so I Googled it up and came up with a vid showing different installations. I’m on the fence now after purchasing a pricey setup a couple of years ago from Yakima. My main goal with my Yakima setup was to be able to use the full bed for storage [bike mounted above the bed] on a camping trip. That is the only drawback with the RIDE88 rack that I see. I still may switch out for the 88.

    Watch the video within this link.

    Here’s my setup to show what I mean and for comparison.
